Reports and KPIs
Reports has every number studioHYPE keeps for your studio, over any dates you pick: leads, conversion, enrollment, retention, revenue, email, and social. The same numbers drive your goals, the dashboard, and the Strategist, so they always agree.
Picking dates and comparing
Choose a range at the top: the last 30 or 90 days, this or last month or quarter, year to date, the last 12 months, one of your seasons or registration periods from the last five years, or custom dates. Then choose what to compare with: the previous period, the same dates last year, the same dates two years ago, or nothing. A season or registration period compares with its own earlier year, using that year's real dates. Each number shows how it moved, green when it moved the right way. Switching tabs keeps your dates.
Year over year lines the same dates up across the last five years. See History and comparing years.
What's on each tab
- Overview: the headline numbers, leads over time, the funnel from lead to enrolled, where leads came from, your goals, and programs that need more enrollment.
- Leads: leads added, website visits (once the website snippet is on your site), leads contacted, time to first reply, trials scheduled and completed, spend and cost per lead, broken down by source, campaign, program, owner, and location.
- Conversion: lead to trial, trial to enrollment, lead to enrollment, campaign conversion, and each registration period's conversion (of the leads open during it, how many enrolled by two weeks after it closed).
- Enrollment: new enrollments, children enrolled over time, retention, families who left, and estimated revenue, by program, campaign, and lead source.
- Campaigns: every campaign that ran in your dates, with its leads, families moved by its emails, enrollments, conversion, registrations, revenue, spend, and targets hit, plus the channels across them and what their reviews said. See Measuring a campaign.
- Email: everything from your email results (delivery, opens, clicks, replies, unsubscribes, families who inquired, booked, or enrolled after opening one) for the dates you pick, by kind, with your best emails first.
- Social: reach, impressions, engagement and engagement rate, link clicks, video views, shares, saves, followers and follower growth, profile visits, and website taps, by platform, with your top posts.
Hover over a number's name to see exactly what it counts. A number with a small sample says so: read it loosely.
Spend and cost per lead
Record what you spend on Reports → Spend: the amount, the date, the channel (Facebook, Instagram, Google, website, events, referral rewards, email, or print and other), and, if it was for one, the campaign. Channels line up with lead sources, so Facebook spend divides by Facebook leads. Campaign results show what each campaign cost per lead and per enrollment.
Revenue
- Estimated tuition revenue uses each program's monthly price (set it in Settings → Studio → Programs) for the days each child was enrolled.
- Recorded revenue adds up the revenue you record in the results of events, registration periods, seasons, and campaigns.
- For anything else, a revenue goal updated by hand takes check-ins.
Where the social numbers come from
Post numbers come in for posts studioHYPE publishes to Facebook and Instagram, refreshed for 30 days after each one goes out. Follower counts, profile visits, and website taps are collected once a day once your accounts are connected. If reach is missing, reconnect in Settings → Social to grant the insights permission.
Exporting
Export CSV downloads every number on the tab for your dates (and the comparison) to open in a spreadsheet.
Who can see reports
Owners and Admins can see Reports and record spend. Members can see goals (and check in on goals they own) but not Reports, since Reports include spend and revenue.
