Deleting your data

studioHYPE is marketing software for youth activity studios. Here's how to remove the information it holds about you, whichever way you're connected to it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

Facebook and Instagram

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account to studioHYPE, studioHYPE holds the Page's and account's names and IDs, an encrypted access key to publish for them, and performance numbers for the posts it published. To delete that, do either of these:

  1. From Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find studioHYPE, and choose Remove. Tick the option to delete the information studioHYPE received if Facebook offers it. Facebook tells us right away; we delete the connection and its access key, and Facebook gives you a confirmation code and a link where you can check the status of the deletion.
  2. From studioHYPE: go to Settings → Social and choose Disconnect. The connection and its access key are deleted immediately, and any scheduled posts go back to being published by hand.

Posts a studio wrote in studioHYPE belong to that studio and stay in its workspace until the studio deletes them. Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram stay there; delete them on Facebook or Instagram if you want them gone.

Families

If a studio uses studioHYPE to manage its families, your information (and your children's) is the studio's to manage. Ask the studio to delete it, or email us and we'll pass your request to the studio and help it complete the deletion. To stop a studio's emails without deleting anything, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of its emails.
